When the Lord delivered the Hebrew children out of the land of Egypt, He could have taken them straight up the regular route to Cannan through the land of the Philistines but He did not. God had other plans. The Lord took them into the wilderness so that they could avoid war with the Philistines. That is how it is with us. Sometimes, the Lord leads us onto a different path in our lives than what we have planned. He may want to take us on a certain path to help us avoid our own mistakes or troubles. He may lead us in a direction where He can teach us. He will even take us a different way on our journey in this life so that He can use us for His purposes. Has things not panned out the way that you had planned lately. Just keep your trust and faith in the Lord. Pray and seek His guidence because God just may be getting ready to do something in your life that you would never expect.

Follow Jesus
Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!” And they left their nets at once and followed him. Matthew 4:19-20 Believe it or not, Jesus is still calling out to us even today. He is calling a people who will truely following Him. He is calling out to those who are willing to forsake this world and all it's glitz and glamour. He is looking for disciples who will forget about prosperity and popularity to go forth to tell someone about Him.
If you look at the last part of the referenced verse, you will see that Peter and Andrew dropped their whole life to follow Jesus. They had no clue who He was, probably never even met Him before but they felt that tug on their heart so str...ong that they did not care. That is what Jesus is wanting still today. No, I am not talking about leaving your life completely behind but I am saying that He wants us to stop holding on to this world, this life and look to Him without fail. I am trying my best to do just that. I want to be led and used of Him more than big houses, fine cars or even winning the next super lottery jackpot. All that is nothing! My Jesus is everything and I am giving Him my everything, my all and all.
Are you ready to forsake this world and follow Jesus? If you have not made that all important decision, I ask you to please consider it today. Jesus came, lived, and died a horrible death on the cross so that we could be forgiven and live for eternity with Him in the presence of our Heavenly Father. Please choose to follow Jesus! He died just for YOU, so please choose to live for Him.

Have you never heard?
Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. Isaiah 40:27-29 There are lots of people out there who have never heard about the awesome power of God. They do not know of the mighty things that HE is doing across the globe. They are out there searching for something but they do not quite know what. That is why it is urgent that we step out of our comfort zones to tell someone about the things that God has done for you. Lots of people are yet to hear. Tell them!
Have you heard? Jesus died just for you and He wants to move in your life and your heart. If you don't know Him personally or even if you don't know Him as well as you would like then what are you waiting on? He is standing at your hearts door knocking, waiting on you to open and let Him in. Jesus loves you so much that He even died for you. There are not many, if any willing to do that for you. Tonight, I ask you to open your hearts door and let Him in. If you want me to pray for you or with you all you have to do is ask. If you are still undecided or have questions, I am here. Drop me a note at tellsomeoneministries@facebook.com and I will be glad to do what ever I can for you. Jesus loves you!

C'Mon Coach
First of all let me say that I LOVE sports! Always have, always will. As a matter of fact C’Mon Coach is inspired by Monday Night Countdown’s C’Mon Man! You know the ESPN segment where players do things that leave you scratching your head. Well, this is kind of the same thing but it’s for coaches.
You see, growing up in church, I noticed this every now and then; but since becoming a Pastor a few years ago, I’ve really started to wonder about this. You see, I can’t seem to understand why a coach would willingly decide to schedule ball practice on a Wednesday night? I mean almost every church in our area has service/youth services on that night. This forces Christian parents to choose between taking their families to church or taking their kids to the ball field. Most families have such a crazy-busy schedules now, they can’t do both.
Having practice on Wednesday nights causes young people to struggle with the decision to either go to church or to the ball field. If they chose ball practice they feel like they’re letting their church & youth group down. If they chose church they feel like they’re letting their team and coach down. Either way, they feel guilty, and, no young person should ever be put in that position.
Don’t get me wrong coach. I really do commend you for taking time out of your busy schedule to be out there on the ball field volunteering night after night especially after a long day at work. I also appreciate your commitment to teaching our young people about discipline and teamwork but honestly, C’Mon Coach, isn’t Monday night, Tuesday night, Thursday night and Friday night enough time to do that?
My six year old son loves to play flag football but he plays for a church league that understands the importance of priorities and putting God first. I really appreciate how they schedule their practices on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights and their games on Saturday mornings so their players don’t have to miss church.
You see coach, in the game of life when the play clock finally strikes all zeros and the final whistle has been blown, people are going to spend eternity in one of two places. As a Pastor, I have a heart to see as many people as possible spend eternity with Christ. So, once again, I do LOVE sports, always have, always will, but I LOVE seeing families spending time together in God’s house even more! So……..C’Mon Coach!

What Is Your Story?
Recently, I had the opportunity to go to a NASCAR race at one of the most popular tracks on the circuit. I did not plan on going but a new friend had an extra ticket and invited me to go at the last minute. Excited to get to go, I hurried to get ready as the invitation came only a couple of hours before the green flag. We made our way to the track trough the crowds and to our seats with plenty of time to spare. My friend got all of his gear ready to enjoy the race and we made small talk. As I looked at the nearly 160,000 people my friend said, "Look at all these people. Everyone of them has a story. Each one has their own problems and trials in this life. I just wonder how many of them know Jesus?"
These words struck me. Indeed, how many of these people knew Jesus? Sure, I would bet that nearly all of them knew who Jesus was. But how many really knew Him? How many had taken the time to accept the gift of salvation that He had provided to them? I don't know the answer to those questions but it would surely be alot of them.
You know, this is our mission here on earth, to let as many people as possible know what Jesus did for them. It is up to us to tell someone about Jesus. The real question is, how many of us are fulfilling this mission? We don't have to travel the nations of the world to spread the Gospel. We can tell our friends, we can tell our neighbors. Our very own town can be our mission field.
So, what is your story? Do you have that personal relationship with Jesus that He desires? If you don't, I ask you to please consider it. Jesus paid the price for you to obtain salvation. He made the only way. You can't earn your way there. You can't buy your way into heaven. Just think about it. If you do know Jesus personally, start today going about telling others about Him. Either way, if you know Him or if you don't why not make Jesus part of your story?

Seek Him
In Psalms 27, David tells us that he is desiring to seek the Lord. He has answered God's call to seek His face. He is wanting to draw closer to God with all of his being, with all that he has. David knows that the Lord is his everything and that without God, he is nothing. It is this desire for God that our Father above wants from all of us.
Sadly, because of our human flesh, we do not want that. We let our earthly wants and desires get between us and God. We let our everyday life get in the way. We would rather do anything than to seek the very face of God. This is not what God wants. Jesus did not come to earth, clothed in human flesh, to die a painful, humiliating death for us just to accept Him and then go off on our own like nothing ever happened.
The main purpose of Jesus dying for us was to bring mankind back into that state of communion with Him. God desires us to have a fellowship, a personal relationship with Him just as Adam had with Him in the Garden of Eden. He wants to know us as one of His children and He wants us to diligently seek Him just as David is doing in Psalms 27.
Seek God's face. Get to know Him as you never have before. Put worldly things behind you and seek first the kingdom of God. Don't let the trappings of this earthly flesh come between yourself and God.
Seek the relationship with Him that you are meant to have in the first place and God will pour out His Spirit on you, your family and your church.
I want so badly for more of God in my life. I want His presence to lead me and guide me to fulfill His plan for me. O Father, pour your spirit out on all those who hunger and thirst for You. Make this your prayer as well.

True Love in a Restaurant
In Matthew, Jesus left us with specific instructions to go and tell the whole world about Him. This not an option. It is the most important thing that we can do in life, telling someone about Jesus. Someone told me. Someone told you. Somewhere along the way most of us have forgotten that. We are to busy. We are to shy. We are just too embarrassed.
A while back, I stopped into a local eatery that I had heard about. From the instant I walked into that establishment, I knew something was different. Christian music played over the speakers and I felt at home. As I stood and looked over the menu, the owner of this place came up to the register and introduced himself. He made polite conversation, “How are you today?” and the like. After a moment he began to tell us about his menu and his business model. He went on to explain that his main items are hotdogs but he had other items as well. He showed us pictures of his selections. They were really big portions. The pictures did not lie because everyone in there had huge plates of food. I mean the hotdogs had to have at least a pound of chili on them. It was a knife and fork hotdog. As he continued, he said he served the large portions because the love of Christ is big. He shared that He only ran the restaurant; God was the real owner and encouraged us that if we did not know Christ that he strongly recommended it. Wow! I could not believe my ears. I smiled and confessed that I indeed did know Jesus. I thought to myself, “This is great”. That was not an isolated incident. He gave the same testimony to each and every customer who entered His business.
I have since become a regular at this restaurant and have heard this gentleman give this witness countless times. Yes, there have been the customers who upon hearing the name Jesus have turned and walked out but that has never stopped him from sharing Christ. I have become friends with the owner and when we have talked about this he says the money or lost business is not important. The thing that matters the most to him is that he got the chance to tell someone about Jesus. He really believes that God leads each and every person to his establishment. If they turn and walk out, he still got to plant a seed. He just prays that God will cultivate that persons heart and allow the seed that was planted to grow and maybe one day that person will come to accept Christ. Even tonight, when a homeless man entered the restaurant carrying every item that he owned, the owner did not miss a beat. Even thought the man was obviously dirty and had a pungent odor about him, Brian (the owner) talked to him and then fed the homeless man without charge. Now that is the real love of Jesus.
Just imagine what the world would be like if all of us Christians, me included, were more like Brian. How many people could we reach? How many seeds would be planted? How many souls would be brought into the kingdom? I pray that the Lord would grant me the boldness and the genuine love for others that Brian shows to every person that he encounters. Think about this story and ask God to give you that same attitude toward others. Ask Him to help you to tell someone about Jesus.

You Are Not Meant To Be Trapped
Tonight, as my wife and I do a couple times a week, we visited a local resturant. We have become fast friends with the owner and his wife because of their walk with Christ and their unashamedly way they do it. But anyway, as we waited to place our order we listened to the owner talk with another customer and he made the statement, "Christians are not meant to be trapped within the church walls." This statement struck me not only because of the simple truth in it but this is exactly how I have been feeling the past year. It is in reality the whole reason behind Tell Someone Ministries.
He is exactly right! Christ did not come and die on that cross of tourture just so we could sit in air conditioned buildings on padded pews and pretend everything is all good. There is a whole world out there that needs Jesus. People are hurting. People are lonely. People are dying without anyone caring enough to tell them the simple plan of salvation. We can't do that when we are trapped behind the church walls. Who is trapping us? No one person except ourselves. We all need to step out of our comfort zone, get out from the safety of the church walls and do the work that we all are meant to do, telling others about Jesus.
I am for one, not going to allow myself to be trapped any longer. I am not going to let my fears, my anxieties, stop me from proclaiming the gospel or His name. How about you? Are you tired of being trapped behind those walls? If so, join me in preparing for battle. Start praying daily, several times a day. Dig into the word and find out what exactly Jesus wants us to do. And lastly, let us start spreading the name of Jesus to this lost and dying world, go forth and lets tell someone about Christ. We can't do this trapped behing church walls. We must carry Him everywhere we go. Jesus did not die just for us, He died for everyone.

Don't Wait, Tommorrow May Be To Late.
God isn't late with his promise as some measure lateness. He is restraining himself on account of you, holding back the End because he doesn't want anyone lost. He's giving everyone space and time to change. 2Peter 3:9
Yes, I do believe that God has not given Jesus the word to come back for His children just so that those who do not yet know Him have a chance to do so. Don't put it off another minute
Are you one of those who God is waiting on? If so, don't wait another minute. Turn to Jesus, ask Him into your life. It will be the best decision you have ever made. You don't have to get good first. You don't have to wait until you are in a church. You can come to Jesus right where you are, just as you are. He loves you and He gave the ultimate sacrifice just for you. He endured all the pain and suffering that you will every experience. He bore all your sin. He shed His blood before our Heavenly Father so that you could be forgiven and that you could live forever with Him in paradise just as the thief who hung beside Him on that Roman cross is today. Please, before it is too late, ask Jesus to come into your life. Ask Him to forgive you of everything bad, every wrong word or deed that you have ever done. Jesus loves you and so do I. If you want someone to pray with you or just want to talk about this decision. Please drop me a note at tellsomeoneministries@facebook.com with your contact info and I will call you and talk with you and even pray with you. Think about your decision, putting it off is the same as saying no. Please don't wait.

Believe and It will Happen
"Embrace this God-life. Really embrace it, and nothing will be too much for you. This mountain, for instance: Just say, 'Go jump in the lake'—no shuffling or shilly-shallying—and it's as good as done. That's why I urge you to pray for absolutely everything, ranging from small to large. Include everything as you embrace this God-life, and you'll get God's everything. Mark 11:22-23 The Message.
But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubts in your heart- We as believers must trust in the Lord. He gives us the desires of our heart, always. May not be the way we would take but He has a plan even when we feel it is getting rough along the way. While I find strength along my path, I also get impatient sometimes and everytime I fear acting on my own will rather than God's. It is also very easy to convince my heart that my actions are in God's will when it is truly mine. And this is when I want to cry out to the Lord and ask His help because I know there is no answer around me and before I travel East to West again (away from His grace one sin at a time) I want to come back to Him again. I sit down and pray, I pray for His guidance and His word to be spoken to me, sometimes it easier to hear Him and other times it is hard. But at all times prayer gives me comfort, reaffirms my hope and not just when I am praying for myself even for others. I pray Father that every believer be drawn close to you through prayer that your will be done in their lives and bring them peace to know that your word beats your truth into their souls and helps them to become what you have called them to be. Father help us to trust you no matter what and help us to know that all that happens is for good, that you are our best friend and no one else could satisfy the way you do. In Jesus name, Amen!

A Special Message For Fathers Day
Fathers, don't exasperate your children by coming down hard on them. Take them by the hand and lead them in the way of the Master. Ephesians 6:4 MSG
This is the most important job of a father, to his family Jesus each and everyday. We must love our families with the love that God has shown us. We must let our actions and our words reflect Jesus in our lives. We must tell our children about Jesus.
If you are a father and you do not know Christ, you are missing out on the best gift ever. When you accept Jesus and let Him rule in your life, then He will help you and guide you in becoming a better father, a better husband and a better ...man. These days it takes the help and the wisdom of the Lord to raise our children and lead our famiies. Let Jesus take you by the hand and help you in your life and the life of your family. You will be glad you did. I am.

A New Ministry for Tell Someone Ministires
Most of all you know that Tell Someone Ministries is a social media ministry with a Facebook page, Twitter account, a monthly blog and a website. We also recently began contributing for Eternal Flame News, part of JMC Ministries. Our main focus is Facebook and Twitter with daily post on these sites. However, we here at Tell Someone Ministries want to branch out to other areas. I am wanting to do a video blog tentatively named "Minute Messages". I have all the equipment and software to do this, all I have to do is start . There are also two things that I would love to do but both of these would require alot of time, alot of help and alot of resources. That is where we stand for the current time.
However, today I started a new ministry which will both promote Tell Someone Ministries and tell someone about Jesus. I have printed business cards, in english as well as in spanish. Theses cards one one side has the Tell Someone logo and the other side ask "Do you need prayer?" This is followed by our email address and mentions Facebook and Twitter. The reverse side is a simple invitation for the reader to accept Christ. My plan is to leave these anywhere I can. Gas pumps, payphones, resturants, anywhere you see business cards posted. You never know who will pick one of these up.
Now, this is what I am really excited about. This is something you can get involved in. I will send you some of these cards for you to place around your town, no cost to you. Just email me your contact info at tellsomeoneministries@facebook.com
If you would prefer I can send you pictures, purchase the blank cards from WalMart or other retailer and print them out anytime you want. One piece of advice, if you do leave these at a resturant on your table as you leave, please consider leaving an extra large tip (at least 25 to 30%) for the waitress/waiter as well. This what I plan to do and not only will you share Jesus with someone, you will also share His love with them.
Please pray for this ministry as I know you will. Thank you for your prayers and support as together we tell someone about Jesus.

Little Monkeys
I have heard it said that in the countries of Southeast Asia and the Pacific Island nations that a certain species of small monkey is a delicacy and sold for food to resturants in those countries. The interesting thing however is not the fact that these monkeys are actually eaten by people, it is how the people who capture these little monkeys trap them. It is simple, much easier than you could imagine. The hunters take a hollowed out gourd, tie it to a tree, cut out a small hole in the side of it, just big enough for the little monkey to slide their hand into and fill the gourd with berries and nuts. That is it. You see, when the little monkey happens upon these goodie filled gourds, they reach in and grab a hand full of the delicious treats. The trick is that the little monkey cannot pull it's hand out while it is holding onto few berries and nuts inside. This little monkey is just stubborn enough that it just will not let go. You can figure out the rest of the story. The little monkey gives up its freedom and eventually it's life for a few berries and some nuts.
It occurred to me that there are a lot of Christians out there who are just like these little monkeys. They have stuck their hand into the gourd of sin for the pleasures of a few berries and nuts and they will not let go. They are in our churches. They are our neighbors. They might even be us. They are holding onto that secret sin and will not let go. They are just waiting for the hunter, Satan, to come and collect them as they go about their life.
They are different than the little monkeys, they have someone they can turn to, they have a savior waiting to come to their rescue. All they have to do is to ask. It is not the will of God for it to be this way. He provided us a way out. He provided us Jesus. When we really repent we will turn away from those secret sins and will never go back to them. God is looking for the repentant heart.
Psalms 24:3 ask, "Who may ascend the hill of the Lord? Who may stand in His holy place?" Verse 4 answers, "He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear by what is false." In other words, we have to be totally repentant and to completely turn away from our old life and live for Him completely. We have to let go of those pleasures in the berries and nuts and take our hand out of the gourd of sin. When we do that, verse 5 promises us that "He will recieve blessing from the Lord and vendication from God, his Savior."
I believe that we are on the cusp of prehaps the greatest outpouring of the Holy Spirit that America has ever seen. To recieve that blessing promised in verse 5 we have to be found pure and clean as verse 4 says. We need to turn away from our sins and turn completely to God. He wants to pour out blessings on us but can't if we are found stained with sin.
I want to be found worthy of His blessings. I want to be part of the Great Outpouring that is on the way. Today, examine yourself and if you find anything there that is unpleasing to God, let go of it. Turn it over to Jesus and let Him create in you a pure heart and clean hands. This is the only way that we can effectively go about and tell someone about Jesus.

The Graffitti of Your Heart
Recently, my place of employment was hit by vandals who spray painted their calling card on the white painted exterior of our building. I admit, sometimes graffiti has a certain artistic quality about it, but not this time. This graffiti however was crudely painted letters that obviously had some kind of meaning known only to the ones who gave them to us. The letters were painted in such a hurry that the paint had run in multiple streaks down the wall leaving a mess. Anyone who has seen examples of this knows how a nice clean building can be scarred and left with marks that no one enjoys looking at. All it takes is one can of spray paint and someone with nothing better to do.
Because of my responsibilities at work, it fell to me to clean up this mess. After a trip to the nearby hardware store to pick up a gallon of fresh white paint and a roller, I was ready to begin my work of covering up the ugly marks left behind by our after hours visitor. It was not a large area that I had to repair but it had to be done.
As the moments passed and I rolled a fresh coat of white paint over the black marks that greeted our visitors as they turned into the parking lot, a thought crossed my mind. During our journey through this life, our heart is marked by the hurts and the troubles of this world. Each unkind word, every wrongful action leaves a mark on our heart. We become scarred and often the pain last longer than it should. Sometimes, we are able to wipe away these hurts ourselves, but the scars remain. Other times, the passage of time eases the pain, but marks are left behind.
We can carry these marks all throughout our lives, but that is not the plan of God for us. He does not want His children to hurt. He does not want us to carry the scars left behind by those who have wronged us or by the times of trouble that we have encountered during our lifetime. There is a fix to these marks for us. Our Heavenly Father has given us hope, He has given us Jesus.
So many of us carry these scars around with us needlessly. Our Lord is waiting and He is ready to cover those marks and scars left behind on our hearts. All we have to do is to let Him take the brush of His love to our hearts and cover those marks and those scars with the paint of His precious blood. If you will do just that, He will paint your heart and make it new. Let Him cleanse it of the graffiti that this life has left behind on your heart. Let Jesus make you a new creature in Him and erase the pain of this world from your life forever.

What's the Hurry?
Recently, I went grocery shopping with my wife, my oldest daughter and her two children. My two little grandkids love to help mommy shop, grabbing cookies and whatever else that is in their reach and tossing it into the buggy. But this trip was a little different. My little grandson was out ahead of the buggy trying to rush things along. All throughout the store he was obviously in a rush to get out of there. Getting a little frustrated his mother ask, "Son, what's the hurry."
Recently, my study and my mediations have all been in this same direction. I almost feel like the Lord is asking me, "Son, what is the hurry?" I think that the Lord is speaking this to all His people. He misses His children and wants to spend time with us. He is saying "Wait".
We live in a rush rush hurry hurry world and it seems like none of us spend as much time in the word and with the Lord in prayer as we should. There is countless examples in the word where our Heavenly Father is telling us to wait on Him. Isaiah 40, " Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength...." Lamentations 3:26 "It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord." Lamentations 3:25 "The Lord is good to those who wait on Him, to those who diligently seek Him." Even Jesus told His disciples in Luke 24:49 to "tarry (wait) in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high." I wonder, what would have happened if the desciples and the rest of the 120 in the Upper Room had been in a hurry and not stuck around. They would have missed out on the promise of God! They would have missed out completely!
If we want the blessings of God in our lives we can't continue to treat Him like our local drive through at McDonalds. We can't pretend that His blessings are like the new microwave oven I just installed where we can have our food fully cooked in just a couple of minutes. He wants us to wait. He wants us to spend time with Him. When we get into to big of a rush when it comes to seeking the Lord, then we will never know what blessings we will miss out on. I beg of you this night, wait upon the Lord. Spend some quality time with Him by seeking His presence in your life. Don't give up! Don't lose interest! And most importantly don't get in a hurry!

I AM WHO GOD SAYS I AM
The world looks at people and makes snap judgements about everyone that they encounter. Like it or not that is just the way that it is. To the world I am just a nobody. I don't have lots of money. I don't live in a fancy home. I don't even have a nice car. The world takes one look and me and they see my plain clothes. They see my everyday appearance. They see an average guy, nothing special or nothing fancy. I am not the best looking person around. I don't stand out in the crowd. I am not the smartest cookie in the jar. How can I ever amount to anything they ask? I will always be one of the "little people" they say.
It is a good thing that I know better than all that. I am not who the world says I am, I am who God says that I am. Romans 8:15 and 16 says "For you did not recieve the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you have recieved the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, 'Abba, Father'. The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God." God tells me and more importantly He is telling you that if we have accepted Christ, then we are indeed His children. Thats right! You are special. You are important. You are His! No one on this earth can ever take that away from you. When the world tries to tell you that you are just a nobody, don't accept that! No matter what your surroundings, no matter what your station in life, you are a child of the Most High God.
If you can't claim that special place as one of His children, it is available to you too. All you need to do is to call on the name of God, believe that Jesus came and died for your sins, and ask Him to forgive you. It really is that easy. Take those three easy steps today and let His Spirit place that cloak of adoption around you.

I See Dead People
Several years ago, there was a popular movie out in which a popular line caught the attention of the nation. It was copied in comedy skits, other TV shows and as well as millions of people jokingly repeating it. That most famous line from that movie was, "I see dead people."
This was all in fun, but there is a truth to that. There really are dead people walking around us. Do you see them? They could be your neighbors. They could be your co-workers. They could even be right next to you right now. Before you stop reading because you think I'm crazy, consider this.
In the Gospel of John 10:10, Jesus said, "I have come that they may have life and have it more abundantly." Let's see, if Jesus came that we may have life, then if we don't accept Him, that means that we are dead spiritually. Those are the dead people we see walking around. We see those who have not accepted Jesus in their spiritually dead state. We that are alive in Him shouldn't ignore those around us who are dead in their sins. It is our job, our ministry if you will, to share life with them, to tell them about Jesus. Look around you. See all the people you encounter daily? Ask yourself, do they know Jesus? Are they alive in Him? Now, think what would happen if they were to physically die that instant? They are exactly were you would be if someone had not told you about Jesus. They are an instant from dying without Christ. Do you really want that for them? Think about that for a moment. What do you plan to do about that?
When Jesus left the disciples on the Mount of Olives and ascended to heaven, He told them in Matthew 28:19 to "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations". This command did not end with them. It passed through out the ages even to us today. Disciples make disciples and that is what we are to do, make new disciples. Why would we want to keep the promise of Jesus to ourselves? Go therefore today and tell someone about Jesus. You could be the one who finally convinces them to follow Jesus.

Our Mission
Here at Tell Someone Ministries, our mission is plain and simple. Acts 26:18 "To open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may recieve forgiveness of sins." For me, I feel that I have not done enough to tell others about Jesus.
Even though we live in what was founded as a Christian nation, we live in one of the most needful mission fields in the world. I have always wanted to travel to foreign lands to help a missionary to proclaim the gospel of Jesus but I have come to realize that I can do that right here in America. I started Tell Someone Ministries in March of 2010 with a simple Facebook page. Since then, that page has been viewed by 29 different countries around the globe. This list includes current and former communist countries where the gospel is hard to spread as well as Islamic countries where missionaries are all but denied the permission to teach and to preach. I have been able to go to places via Tell Someone Ministries facebook page that is nearly impossible to reach in person.
For the future, I will add video messages and music to the Facebook page as well to the new additions to this ministry, our website, Twitter and now Blogspot. I also have the dream of hosting live events in my community with Christian bands and worldwide or local evangelist. I have not made definate plans as of yet for these events. Just help me to pray that the Lord would provide a venue to hold these events as well as ministry partners. I am doing all this for the simple reason of telling someone about Jesus.
If you have happened across this new blogspot by accident or if you are here because it was mentioned on one of the other Tell Someone Ministries locations, please join with me in this endeavour for Christ. I am always looking for new and exciting ways to tell someone about Jesus. If you want to know more or if you would like to become a ministry partner just drop me an email at tellsomeone_ministries@yahoo.com. Please take the opportunity to check our our Facebook and Twitter pages as well as the website http://www.tellsomeoneministries.webs.com/.
Thanks for taking the time to read this first attempt to blog.
